THE
DOOR LEADING TO THE APARTMENT IS FACING EAST.
Dear
Aunt Agga,
I
live in an apartment that faces west. The door leading to the apartment
is facing east. Please advise if the house is auspicious for my
husband. He is born in 1957 and me in 1961. Our bedroom is facing
northwest.
Best
wishes, Irene.
Dear
Irene,
When
deciphering the location and orientation of the home it is best
to follow the best directions of the patriarch, therefore it should
be in the best directions of your husband. By calculating his Kua
number, we can discover these directions. His Kua number is 7. Therefore
his four best directions are Northwest, Southwest, Northeast and
West. It will be good if the main door of the apartment faces one
of these directions.
However
I see that the door faces East. This is a bad direction for your
husband. It is his total loss direction. If there is a second door
into the apartment, which faces one of his good directions then
it is suggested that he uses that door. The bedroom is placed in
the Northwest and this is an excellent direction for your husband
for it is his success direction.
Also
try to ensure that he sleeps with his head pointed in this direction
as well.

Aunt Agga
THERE
IS AN OVERHEAD BEAM IN MY BEDROOM DIRECTLY UNDER MY LEG.
Hi
Aunt Agga,
There
is an overhead beam in my bedroom directly under my leg. Is this
position okay? I could not move the position of my bed because otherwise
I will be either facing the window with my leg or head.
Andrew
Dear
Andrew,
By
right, you should try not to have the beam running across you at
all. However, if it is impossible to move your bed from underneath
it, there are some remedies to overcome it. Firstly you may try
to camouflage it with false ceilings. If you cannot camouflage it
because of the ceiling being too low, use cloth to create a softer
effect of the chi emanating from the ceiling. This is not a perfect
cure but I have seen it work quite effectively.

WHICH
TABLE IS THE MOST AUSPICIOUS FOR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER?
Dear
Aunt Agga,
My
kwa number is 6 and love area is southwest. Which table is most
auspicious for this area: a wooden table or a metal table with a
glass surface? Thanks.
Kika
K.
Dear
Kika,
The
Southwest corner is dominated by the element of Earth. Therefore
any item that represents this element is auspicious. In the productive
cycle, Earth produces Metal, thus, Metal has the capability to weaken
Earth. Wood on the other hand, destroys Earth in the destructive
cycle. Therefore between the two, it is best to go for the Metal
table with the glass surface. Try to strengthen the Earth element
by placing a crystal here.

Aunt Agga
OVERCOMING
INCOMPATIBILITY
Dear
Aunt Agga,
Thank
you for your fast response to my email. I would appreciate it if
you could reply to my private email rather than the office email
as I think this is a rather P&C matter. I have actually sent
queries twice to Aunt Agga to ask her about my marriage under the
Aunt Agga Column, but unfortunately there was no reply from her.
My question is:
I
have married for 10 years now. My husband was born in the year of
the Rooster (13.3.57), and I am a Rabbit (9.1.64). We have been
struggling with our marriage for some time and it's getting serious
as we do not see eye to eye for every single minor thing, but we
still bear the bitterness, though we're very unhappy. It is affecting
my son too.
Therefore,
I would appreciate it very much if Aunt Agga could guide me and
advise me how to salvage our marriage and improve our relationship
as I still think that having a family is always better than
being a single parent!
Please,
I need your advice desperately as I am very confused and miserable!
Thank
you in advance for your kind attention, and looking forward to hearing
from you soon.
Regards,
Desperate.
Dear
Desperate,
You
are right: it's better to try to keep your family together and salvage
your marriage, especially since you've gone through so much
together. Don't fret, Aunt Agga may be able to help you.
First
of all, you and your husband must attempt to understand and accommodate
one another, as the Rabbit and Rooster are deemed the natural enemies
of the zodiac. Being placed directly opposite each other in the
Chinese Zodiac Wheel means that arrows of antagonism are created
between them.
But
having said that, let me assure you that after calculating
your birthdates based on the Eight Mansions formula, I've found
that your kua number (5) and your husband's (7) are compatible.
This is good news, as the compatibility of your kua numbers offsets
the incompatibility of your astrological signs somewhat. This means
your marriage CAN be made to work! But how?
According
to feng shui masters, birth-chart based incompatibility between
two people can be appeased by having symbols of marriage harmony
in the couple's bedroom. One of the best symbols to use is a pair
of mandarin ducks or geese, as these birds are emblems of marital
harmony. Try to have these symbols carved onto beds and bedroom
furniture. You may also have the double happiness sign carved onto
beds, drawn as calligraphy or worn as a wedding ring, to ensure
long -lasting harmony between you and your husband.
Also,
it would be very good if you and your husband could sleep with your
heads pointed to your husband's nien yen direction, Northeast, to
create harmony between the two of you.Good Luck!

Aunt Agga
HOW
TO USE LUCKY COINS?
Dear
Aunt Agga,
What's
the proper number of coins to hang behind the door? Is it 3, 8,
9 or 10?
Regards,
David.
Dear
David,
You
should hang three Chinese coins tied together with red/gold
string on the inside door handles of your main door to ensure that
there is always money luck in your home. Or you can hang nine.
This tip would be even more effective if you hang a small bell on
the outside door handles of your main door. The tinkling
of the bell is believed to entice more good fortune luck to come
into the home.

Aunt Agga
I
WANT TO BE FAMOUS!
Dear
Aunt Agga,
I
am into acting, and I have all the talent to become a good actress,
but everyone wants to take advantage of me! Please give me some
tips so that I can carry on working with these people without
compromising myself. I want to become famous & wealthy. Thanks.
Regards,
Kajol.
Dear
Kajol,
I
think the first thing you should do is to prepare yourself mentally
for the challenges you will face if and when you go into show business.
It's a dog eat dog world in this field, so you'd best brace
yourself.
As
being an actor requires you to be well known and easily recognized,
you should energize the southern corner or wall of your home, which
is the corner that represents fame, recognition and reputation.
Now, how is this done?
Well,
as the ruling element of the south is fire, you should place something
that symbolizes this element in the south: bright lights, sun motifs,
red-coloured objects, etc. It would be most helpful if a fireplace
was situated in this section, but of course this depends on whether
or not you live in a country with a winter season. You may also
use objects that symbolize the wood element, as wood feeds fire:
plants, pinecones, banzai trees, wooden objects, etc. Avoid the
water element, as water douses fire.
Love,
Aunt Agga
