I HAVE THE WORST LUCK IN THE WORLD

Dear Aunt Agga,

Definately I have the worst luck in the world. I was trying to log in and for some reason I could not do it, then I tried to e-mail you and the power went off!!!

Hello, my name is Aida and I am the most miserable person you can think of. I am a 26 y/o Hispanic Female, who HATES her Low-Pay-Social-Work-Job. I have another part time job as I cannot pay my bills and the rent every month, and I still am unable to survive.

I rarely go out as I cannot afford it and I have gained 26 lbs since April, 2000. I recently terminated my 2 yrs. relationship with my significant other and the only male I've been interested in dumped me for no apparent reason. I don't know what I want to do, professionally speaking, with my life.

Currently the only thing that brigs joy to m life is my beautiful cat, Nini. I need any kind of help you can provide. As you can see, I need all the help in the world, I have tried everything and do not know where else to turn. Please reply to this message!

Thank you for your time, Aida.

Oh dear, you don't sound like you're having a good deal at all! When did all this bad luck start? If you were doing OK before, you should check your flying stars. Flying Star feng shui is a formula dealing with the time dimension of feng shui. Depending on the natal chart of your house and the positioning of your front door, different rooms within your home and your home as a whole will go through different kinds of luck with the changing of periods.

For example, when I had my finger bitten off by a horse, a bad finger star happened to fly into my room that month. Of course I only checked after the incident, but... SPOOKY huh? Also, last year, this company had all sorts of bad things happen to their staff... one had Down Syndrome, another had a chandelier fall on her head, causing serious injury... they then discovered after checking their feng shui that their front door was in the South facing the Grand Duke Jupiter. Worse, they had lit up the South with lights, activating all the bad luck in that corner!

What I would recommend would be for you to buy Lillian Too's "Flying Star Feng Shui" , but in the meantime, look on the bright side of life. At least your cat loves you, you have a job (even though you hate it) and you have a computer or you wouldn't be writing in - so things aren't all so bad if you think in the right perspective. As for your weight, go get some exercise, try out the latest protein diet (which people say works - I have yet to see results!), walk your cat... and you know what, far better to be a little too big sideways than to be a stick. Says the Feng Shui Guru.

Love, Aunt Agga.

SLEEPING WITH YOUR BED UNDER A WINDOW

Dear Aunt Agga,

I am very new to Feng Shui. Can I position my bed under a window, even if it has a headboard. My book makes no mention of it, but a friend of mine says that this is a no-no.

Thanks, Lisa.

It is better not to. If you need to position your bed near a window, it is OK if the side goes against the window, but do not let your head or feet point out into nowhere as you sleep. If you have to have your bed against the window, the headboard certainly helps. What you should also do is to keep your curtains closed as much as possible, and certainly when you are sleeping.

Hope this helps.

Love, Aunt Agga.

PROFESSIONS FOR WATER PEOPLE

Dear Aunt Agga,

I understand that if I am involved in anything that represents the water element, this will be prosperous. Can you please advise me what type of career or industries have the water element for me to venture in?

Sincerely, Kylee

Water element industries include banking, restaurants, shipping and beverages. However, it would be interesting for you to check this against your four pillars before you put too much water in your life, otherwise you could drown.

PLACING THE DRAGON TORTOISE

Dear Aunt Agga,

I bought a small turtle dragon figurine for my desk. What is the correct position to place it. My number is 6. My sitting position faces west.

Thank you, Deon.

Dear Deon,

Place your dragon tortoise facing you at the upper left hand side of your desk.

METAL RADIATORS IN THE WOOD SECTORS

Dear Aunt Agga,

I live in a house with metal radiators for heat. Some of these radiators are located on my East walls (kitchen, dining room, bathroom, office). I believe the East pertains to Wood. What can I do to counertact the effect of metal on wood?

Thank you, Virginia

Dear Virginia,

Place water features along these walls. The water will weaken the metal because metal produces water, and strengthen the wood , because water produces wood.

STORE ROOM IN MY LOVE CORNER

Dear Aunt Agga,

I read from here that the Southwest of the house governs the love of life. The southwest of my house is a room which I used as a storeroom. I cannot stay in this room as it is too small.

Please advice, thank you, Shopgirl.

Dear Shopgirl,

Why don't you light it up and make it a meditation room? The light energies represent fire, which produces earth, the element of the Southwest. And your meditating there will promote further good energy for your love corner. Good luck!

Love, Aunt Agga.

BEDROOM MUSIC & BED POSITIONING

Dear Aunt Agga,

I know Bedrooms are a place of rest, and I have no TV in mine, but what about a stereo system for quiet music? Also, my bed cannot help but be right in front of my door, what is the best thing to place at the foot of my bed?

Thank you, Gail.

Dear Gail,

Music in the bedroom is no problem. However, your bed being right in front of your door IS . You should place a screen between your bed and the door.

Love, Aunt Agga.
