Guidelines
to applying Symbolism and the Five Elements of Feng Shui to empower
your 8 Life Aspirations:
CAREER
AND BUSINESS: NORTH
The North Direction
is associated with the Trigram Kan of the I-Ching. Ba Kua School
practitioners call this the Career or Business sector of the home,
office or room. The Kan Trigram is related to the Water Element.
To enhance the North, we would need to employ the Water or Metal
element.
In Feng Shui
symbolism, there are a couple of methods that can be used to enhance
the Career aspiration. The following are a few examples:
- Chinese
Coins and the Coin Sword
Chinese Coins emit strong Metal Chi influence, because they
are made of copper or metal materials. Coins inadvertently symbolize
money. Using them to symbolize successful career prospects and
financial growth or stability is very appropriate.
The Coin Sword on the other hand has not only a protective nature,
but also an assertive force to drive career prospects forward.
They are excellent forms of Feng Shui symbolism.
- Tortoise
The Tortoise is associated with the North's Black Tortoise
Hills. They are a symbol of protection and stability. The
Chinese also depict the tortoises as symbols of longevity. Thus
it is ideal to place them in your career sector to symbolize a
strong, steady and prolonged successful career.
- An Aquarium
The Water element in the Aquarium is used to stimulate the
Career aspects of the 8 Life Aspiration theory.
