EAST: KNOWLEDGE
North East is
associated with the Trigram Ken and is related to the element of
Earth. To activate the Earth Chi in the North East, the Fire element
or Earth element objects can be used. Alternatively, symbolism related
to these motives can be used. The North East is linked to the Knowledge
and Wisdom aspirations of the household. Those seeking help in school
or academic luck may choose to activate this corner of the house
or room. Here are some recommendations:
- Kuan Kung
Kuan Kung, besides being worshipped as the patron God of War,
is also known as the God of Literature. Placing him in the northeast
is believed to strongly enhance your household's academic
and scholarly pursuits.
- Maitreiya
- Buddha of Infinite Wisdom
Maitrieya although regarded by many as the Laughing Buddha
or Happy Buddha, is also worshipped as the Buddha of Infinite
wisdom. The Bag that he carries "Wong Kum Doi" (Gold
Treasure Bad) contains ALL the treasure in the world. One of which
is infinite wisdom.
