| These were not your usual "fans" - they were video distributors and video store retailers who are responsible for purchasing, marketing and distributing the latest U.S. and international video and DVD releases, a $17 Billion dollar business. Celebrities were there to meet and sign autographs for the conference attendees. According to many, Jet Li's appearance was the most popular.
In between two and a half hours of signing autographs at the Warner Home Video exhibition, Jet graciously found time to speak to AC Team members in the midst of the the crowds and the noise: Jet Li: Hi! AC Team: Congratulations, this is an unbelievable turnout. Many of these people are dealers, they are all going to be selling your DVD's!
Jet Li: Thank you very much! AC Team: Jet, it's been a fantastic year for you personally and professionally. A wedding, a new baby, and now the release of "Romeo Must Die" on DVD and VHS. The response here is overwhelming! How do you feel about all this?

Jet Li: Of course I feel very happy!
AC Team: What is different on your DVD and video release versus what your fans
have seen in the theaters? Are they going to see something different on the DVD release? Jet Li: I don't know yet, because I haven't seen it yet, but I have a lot of [other] old Hong Kong movies coming direct to the video store. "Fist of Legend," maybe "My Father Is A Hero," they change the name, "Shaolin Master," they change the name, I don't know.
(laughter) They are coming direct to video.
(Warner Brothers executives confirm that there will be additional video clips/trailers added to the release on DVD and video.) Even exhibitors left their booths and waited in line for Jet, but for at least one person - well, it was a little conspicious. With a big grin on his face, Jet turned around, waved and handed her an autographed picture. Jet's team told AC Team that he was off to Paris after the convention. He's shooting a "top secret" film which gives Jet alot of
artistic control. The $25 million dollar film has been independently financed. He grinned when we asked:

AC Team: I understand you are currently working on a project in Paris. It is top
secret, and you have a lot of control - that's very exciting.
Jet Li: A lot of control, because Luc and I are like two brothers, we decide to go make a movie and we decide to just do it right away. As to the latest update on his high profile roles in big budget Hollywood movies: AC Team: What about the "Green Hornet" and "First King?" You have lots of fans asking about these movies. Can you say anything about the "Green Hornet," which is coming out in January? Jet Li: They are still writing it, they are rewriting the story.
