Interview
with Esther Hwang
AC:
Esther, we know you are extremely busy these days with work, modelling,
acting and now studying hard for your LSAT's. (Thanks for all those
messages on Esther's bulletin board urging her to stick to her LSAT's!).
Nevertheless, you still have time to say hello to us and all of your
fans. How do you find all this boundless energy?
Esther:
Sometimes I don't sleep more than 5 or 6 hours per night. However,
lately I am trying to put in my 8 hours of necessary beauty sleep.
Balancing beauty rituals with my crazy lifestyle is not easy. What
has become the sacrifice for all this has been my social life. I
don't have much time to enjoy myself as much as I should. With so
much to do and experience, managing my time and energy has become
my greatest challenge. Ultimately, I have no complaints. I would
rather be productive than anything else in the world. They say you
are your happiest when you are in the process of striving toward
your goals. When you reach them, you need new challenges otherwise
you'll be bored and possibly discontent. Thus, I am happy just in
the striving for my goals because I believe with all my heart that
they are attainable.

Do you have advice for Esther on how to cope with an extremely busy
lifestyle?

What
do you think Esther should do if she is offered an acting role about
a stereotypical Asian "sex-kitten?'" Should she take the
role or hold out for better ones?
