Applying
Auspicious Symbology
To Stimulate Your Eight Mansions
Negating
The Evil Stars
Wo Hai: Mishaps
Wo Hai in the
Eight Mansions system is regarded as the evil star that brings about
mischance and afflictions. Wo Hai hinders smooth sailing of life's
endeavors and cause minor obstacles for the individual.
Wo Hai can give
headaches and stress to the individual if unduly activated. To suppress
this evil star, Feng Shui Masters would advise you to place your
storage room or washrooms in this sector of the house. Unfortunately,
this is not always easy to achieve.
Thus there are
some simple Feng Shui symbology that can be recommended to help
sap the forces of this star.
- Tai-Chi
Sword
Due to the fact that Wo Hai is associated with the Lu Chuan
Star, it is of the element of Earth. The Tai-Chi Sword not only
symbolize balance, but it is made of metal. Thus, it weakens the
Earth based Wo Hai star bringing equilibrium to the sector.
- Chinese
Coin Sword
The Coin Sword is believed to have strong protective energies
and able to ward off evil spirits. In oriental countries, the
Coin Sword, usually made of 108 pieces of Chinese gold coins,
(72 Heaven 36 Earth Theory) is hung facing the window or main
door.
It is believed that the Coin Sword dispels evil influences and
negates bad chi from coming in through the window or main door.
In strict Feng Shui principles, the Coin Sword exerts a strong
Metal Chi influence (according to the Five Element Theory), thus
can weaken the Earth Chi based Wo Hai star.
- Kuan Yin
Plaque
The Kuan Yin plaque not only depicts the image of the Goddess
of Mercy, which is already the ultimate symbol of compassion and
love, it is also made of brass (metal element).
Combined with the sutras that are inscribed on the plaque, the
Metal Chi of the Kuan Yin plaque is more than suitable to neutralize
the evil influence of the Wo Hai star.
- Kuan Yin
Bells
The Kuan Yin bells give a blissful and joyful jingle. It is
believed that each jingle exerts a sutra line that is inscribed
on the Bell portraying the great Goddess of Mercy.
The Metallic Chi exerted from the bells is excellent in
pacifying the Wo Hai star.
