The Fundamentals of Feng Shui

To learn more on Feng Shui, you will need to know some basics such as:

What is Chi?

hi is the central element of Feng Shui in that it is the very energy that you seek to manipulate when you are intent on enhancing your life.

Chi is carried by the water and dispersed by the wind. This age-old Chinese proverb is but a mere tip of the iceberg to greater guidelines on how to mould your life the way you want it.

Chi is infused into your being with every breath you take, it exists in your living environment and at this very moment as you are reading this, is shaping your future. The question now is, what do YOU want to do with this metaphysical energy that is shaping  your very life?

Unlike a religion that requires a sense of faith, Chi does not require any fire walking to profess your belief in it. Neither does Feng Shui. Rest assured that both the pauper on the street and the prince in his castle both are influenced by the same Chi that pervades the universe. The choice of being either one by wielding this force of Chi is entirely in your hands.

Both Sides of Chi

Chi has a dark side to it too. Sha Chi, which is the destructive energy, is at the least a force that will ruin opportunities and crush ambitions. In extremely bad situations, sha chi can bring about a person's downfall and destruction.

Sure, life is about ups and downs, but sometimes it seems you take one step forward and was dragged two steps back. Perhaps you are facing some pretty bad sha chi. Why should you put up with life handing you all the lemons? It's up to you to make sure the next time life hands you anything it'll be sweet and on a silver platter.
