Superstar Jackie Chan wowed the crowds at the world premiere
of his movie, Touchstone Pictures' "Shanghai Noon." Jackie
arrived a la Hollywood style in a stretch limo to the fabled Mann's
Chinese Theatre, but instead of walking down the glam red carpet
to the theater, he unexpectedly sprinted across the street
to high-five and shake hands with more than a thousand fans that
were lined up along the curb!

The fans went wild with excitement. Crowd control measures
for the world premiere had closed Hollywood Boulevard to automobile
traffic, and the overflow crowd that didn't already have special
advance passes for the movie premiere were pushed way across the
boulevard by security. Jackie didn't do this once, he raced back
a second time trying to touch
hands with as many fans as possible, with security guards, camera
people and press agents trailing behind! What a guy.
