The Cast of East West Players' "Follies"

     Tim Dang (Director) has been producing artistic director of EWP for the almost seven years and has been affiliated with East West Players [EWP] since 1980. Past credits as director include, "Leilani's Hibiscus", "Beijing Spring" (co-director with Deborah Nishimura); "Carry the Tiger to the Mountain"; "Pacific Overtures"; "F.O.B."; "Sweeney Todd"; "Whitelands: Porcelain, A Language of their own, half lives"; "Merrily We Roll Along" (co-director with Glen Chin); "The Grapes of Wrath"; "Bitter Cane"; "Into the Woods"; "Canton Jazz Club." Under his artistic direction, EWP is the recipient of numerous awards for artistic achievement and community service. Tim would like to acknowledge his appreciation to the entire EWP Staff, Board of Directors, Council of Governors, countless friends, artists and supporters who have helped build EWP into what it is today. He especially thanks his partner Darrel for his inspiration, patience and understanding.
 

     Amy Hill's film and television credits include "Dim Sum," "Rising Sun," "Seinfeld," a regular role as 'Grandma' in the ABC series "All American Girl."  Of her award winning one-woman shows, "Tokyo Bound" was critically acclaimed across the country, was part of the "Festival of New Voices" at the Public Theater in New York and was nominated for a '95 Cable Ace Award.  "Beside Myself" was seen on the mainstage of L.A.'s Mark Taper Forum, while "Reunion" (the final chapter of her trilogy) enjoyed a sold out engagement at the Actors Theater of Louisville's Flying Solo Festival.  Her Broadway debut in Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" at Lincoln Center aired on PBS' "Live From Lincoln Center."  Recent projects include a new series for Comedy Central, "Strip Mall."
 

     Jack Ong is an actor, activist and minister. Acting credits include (TV) -"Dhar ma & Greg," "V.I.P.," "The Hoop Life," "Touched By An Angel," "Chicago Hope," "Friends," "Martial Law," "The Simpsons"; (upcoming movies) - "Lep in the Hood," "The Perfect Wife," "Teacher's Pet"; (stage) - "Fabric," "Reunification Hotel," "Voices of Hiroshima." Ong is Executive Director of The Dr. Haing S. Ngor Foundation, a youth services and educational organization he founded with the Oscar-winning Cambodian actor. A veteran of the Screen Actors Guild board, Ong serves on the Ethnic Equal Opportunities steering committee; founded AACTION (Asian American Coalition for Total Inclusion on the Networks); and directs a drama ministry at Pacific Christian Center in Manhattan Beach.
