Nivedita DasGupta - A Woman's Place in IT

     Nivedita DasGupta heads the recruiting and marketing department as Vice President (Marketing) at AmeriSOURCE Consulting Inc., headquartered in New Jersey, USA. During the past 17 years, "Niv", as her friends call her, has had an illustrious career in information technology. Beginning as a COBOL programmer in 1980 in one of India's larger consulting companies, she has taken her software skills to four countries around the world - Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico and finally USA.
