AC (MARIO):
Nicky Nguyen asks this question of you. "Before you do a scene.
Obviously, you have to remember your movement, you have to remember
the lines. What else do you put in your mind, your focus? Do you have
any rituals?
JET:
The
first. I'm not Jet Li in the movie! (laughter) Just play the character!
You need to forget your real life. You need to - in a half year
(to) learn your character's life. To think about your character,
the situation around him. So, what's he going to do? Of course (this)
includes the action sequencesin the beginning, to think about why
he needs to fight with people. Because he doesn't want to fight.
AC
(MARIO): So there has to be motivation.
JET: Yes,
you need to think about it deep, inside, outside, to create a new
character.
AC
(MARIO): Eddie Chung asks, "Do you have a special diet? You
are very concerned about room temperature water?
JET:
Yes.
AC
(MARIO): Do you have a special diet?
JET:
Me?
AC
(MARIO): Yes, sir.
JET:
I like the fruits, more vegetables (laughter) not so much oils.
Not a big difference. Just my habit.
AC
(MARIO): Michael.

AC (MICHAEL): Annie James e-mailed us this question. She says,
"Your level of dedication to work is astounding. She'd like
to know, "How do you motivate yourself?"
JET:
How do I motivate? (laugh)
AC
(MICHAEL): How do you motivate yourself to work so hard working.
You're very dedicated.
AC
(MARIO): Keep in focus?
JET:
I think when I was young, two years old. I lost my father. My father
passed away. So, I tried so hard to work. I wanted to get number
one. When I was eight years old, I do everything I need to win,
to do the best. I want to try to give my father a feeling (of being)
proud of me. So, maybeI try so hard. All my school mates, they
have father and mother. I don't have a father. So that's why I always
tried so hard when I was young.
