Beulah
Quo's life is as varied and dramatic as the numerous roles she has
played. One of Hollywood's most successful Asian American character
actresses, Beulah portrayed the empress of Kublai Khan in the popular
NBC miniseries, "Marco Polo," starring as a Vietnamese orphanage director
who saved "The Children of An Lac" (CBS). Most recently she
headed a capital fundraising campaign, successfully raising over $1.7
million to build a new 240 seat East West Players Theater in downtown
Los Angeles.
