About Star Wars...

     It wasn't just any movie premiere. It was an event! The tents are now gone, the lines are getting shorter and the reviews are coming in. Have you seen The Phantom Menace yet?

AsianConnections team members Wendy Chan and Mike Kai visit campers waiting to be first to see The Phantom Menace which hit screens nationwide May 19th at 12:01am.

AsianConnections team member Wendy Chan interviews college student Stacy Lim (UC Irvine), a super fan of Star Wars. She's having fun with her 'camping' experience-meeting new friends, relaxing, and excited to be one of the first to see the movie.

One tent was shared by students from University of Southern California (USC), University of California at Irvine (UCI), and Saddleback College. It features many of the comforts of home: cell phone(a must!), television, VCR, and Sony Playstation!!
